We're knee deep in the snowy stuff and so far, the cabin fever is manageable. I always loved snow days as a kid; I suppose I'm nothing more than a glorified homebody. There are pangs of regret because we still don't live in the city. It would be hilarious and fun to visit some of the snowball fights planned downtown, or to just wander down the side streets snapping pictures of beautiful old buildings covered in snow. There is a certain lacklusterness to the boxy landscapes here in suburbia.
Nevertheless, we wanted to encourage Seamus' sense of adventure, so we took him out for a quick walk in the mountainous (for him, anyway) tundra. I think he's coming around! Check out some of my favorite shots. I hope folks are home and safe, with power and provisions, laughter and loved ones.
